Activity Center Guidelines
- The Activity Center is open until midnight for rental groups who make a request prior to arrival.
- Black-soled tennis shoes and street shoes are not permitted on the gymnasium floor unless approved by the Activity Center Director.
- Gum chewing is not permitted.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the gymnasium area. No glass containers are allowed. Only plastic water bottles are permitted.
- Wet clothes or swim-wear are not to be worn in any area of the building.
- Running and bouncing balls of any kind is limited to the gymnasium area.
- The use of tobacco, drugs, or alcohol are not permitted anywhere on Quaker Haven Camp property or buildings.
- Parents and/or counselors are responsible for youth campers and children under their supervision to keep them under control at all times.
- Anyone vandalizing or damaging the Center will be held financially responsible for the incident and may not be allowed to return to the Center, at the discretion of the QHC management.
- Rollerblades, Skateboards, Roller Skates, Scooters, Bicycles, Tricycles, Wagons are not permitted in the Activity Center.
- More than one group may be using the Activity Center at one time. Please respect their presence. Please stay out of Meeting room areas unless your group has reserved them.
- Athletic Equipment can be checked out from the Activity Center office. Groups are responsible for checking out equipment and ensuring that all items are returned in good condition at the conclusion of their activity. There are some basketball and volleyballs designated as indoor and some designated as outdoor. Please use them in the correct place.
- User promises and warrants that he/she carries liability and medical payments insurance to cover the liability and medical payments exposures resulting from User’s use of Owner’s building.
