Hunt Lodge is a heated and air conditioned facility. The great room has been newly carpeted and the back entry has a new ceramic tile apron. There are two dorms that sleep 10 people each in bunk beds and a private room with a double bed bringing the sleeping capacity to 22.There is a full kitchen with new vinyl flooring, two stoves, side-by-side/ refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Bunn coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. The large fellowship room includes a piano, TV/VCR, (for educational purposes) ping pong table, pop machine, furniture and fireplace–for intimate, late-night discussions. Dish towels, cloths, dish soap and paper towels are also provided. The yard around the building is another feature that lends itself to numerous outdoor activities. There is a large fire-bowl for outdoor grilling or just relaxing around the fire roasting marshmallows and watching the stars.
THANKS! Many thanks go out to the Dale and Sylvia Graves family work team for their renovations in December, 2009. They removed old flooring in the great room, replaced the subfloor, installed ceramic tile in the back entry, laid new vinyl flooring in the kitchen, replaced floor vents and replaced drapes/curtains throughout the building. The team consisted of David & Patrice Stephenson, Jay & Maria Ditman, Bert Mills, Francis Graves and Dale & Sylvia Graves.
