We offer many different meal service options. We have a buffet during the summer and we cater for banquets and other events. We offer a variety of styles of meals including Greek, Chinese, “All-American” and other styles. Quaker Haven’s buffet themes are determined by the cook and his staff except for banquet and catered meals, which are decided on by the group or person organizing the event.

Banquets & Catering

At Quaker Haven, we celebrate God’s gift of healthful and delicious food every day by providing home-cooked meals for groups staying with us at our Dewart Lake campus.

When we do Banquets, the meal is an event all on its own.

With linens, iced water goblets, bussed tables and extended exclusive use of the dining area, we work closely with your banquet coordinators to provide a banquet experience that will delight all the senses as it highlights the special people and the momentous occasions of your group.

Quaker Hall can hold up to 150 guests for a banquet. The Activity Center is able to hold up to 500 guests with set up for a banquet.

When we Cater, the food is hot, on time and always delicious.

In Catering we bring the taste and quality of Quaker Haven to the site of your choosing with flexibility and professionalism.

Banquet

Banquets are served in either Quaker Hall or the Activity Cener. Tables are appointed with linens and glass table service, a full banquet includes wait staff to clear tables and keep beverages filled while you enjoy the view overlooking beautiful Dewart Lake. Banquets include a salad, 2 entrees, 3 side dishes, dinner rolls, drinks, and one dessert for each guest. $14

The menu can be either themed or hand-selected from the list below:

Entrees (pick 2): Pulled Pork, Baked Ham, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmesan, Fried Chicken, Baked Chicken, Roast Beef, Meatloaf, Pot Roast, Baked Fish, Fried Fish, PastamLasagna

Side Dishes (pick 2) : Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Garlic Mashed Reds, Baked Potatoes and Sour Cream, Potatoes Au Gratin, Twice Baked Potatoes, Seasoned Rice, Buttered Noodles, Green Bean Casserole, Southern Style Green Beans, Cheesy Broccoli, California Blend Vegetables, Carrots, Corn, Peas, Seasonal fresh vegetables. (a third side dish will be chosen by our chef to balance your menu)

Salad: We offer plated salads or salad bar. A colorful, delicious salad is part of every banquet. Choose the style of service to match your occasion.

Desserts: One dessert is prepared per person. You may choose up to four kinds of pie or cheesecake (depending on the number of guests), or you can choose a different kind of dessert.

Cater Service

Includes most of the menu options as well as the themed choices of a full banquet. Catering is served on good quality disposable place settings. We provide everything to serve and the wait staff to clear tables and refresh beverages. A catered meal includes a tossed salad, 2 entrees, 3 side dishes, dinner rolls, drinks, and one desert for each guest $14

Entrées (pick 2): Lasagna, Pasta, Pulled Pork, Baked Ham, Baked Chicken, Roast Beef , Meatloaf, Pot Roast

Distance or Difficult Service sites may require an extra $25 transport fee. 15% gratuity will be added for groups of more than 50.

Themed Dinner Banquets

These are designed to produce a banquet or Cater package that creates a unique dining experience for your event.

  • BBQ Cookout – 2 grilled meats, salads, beans, corn and more, served outdoors or in.
  • Mexican Fiesta – Banquet quality and presentation with the colors, tastes, and textures of Mexico
  • Sunday Dinner – Step back in time to Pot Roast and Chicken after church.
  • Italian Comfort – Spaghetti, fettuccini, and lasagna, with lots of options.

Standard Meals

Standard meals are served Buffet Style in Quaker Hall.

Standard meal times: Breakfast at 8am, Lunch at 12pm, Dinner at 5:30pm

All meals are served buffet style with guests starting at the same time and clearing their own tables when they are finished. In this way a wide range of meal choices can be provided while maintaining the fellowship of a meal enjoyed together.

Dietary restrictions can usually be accommodated, but calls should be made in advance to ensure that the kitchen has time to anticipate every guests’ needs.

All meals are by reservation through the front office. A minimum of 20 adults is required for meal service to be available in the "off' season Sept - May. However, the required minimum may be met by more than one group, and reservations for Sunday dinner are often made for very small groups and individuals.

Ages 4 and under are free.

Quick facts:

  • All standard meals are served buffet style where seconds are welcome.
  • QHC is able to serve banquets of 25-150 in our dining hall, up to 500 in our Activity Center, and to cater groups of 25-300 off-site.
  • Price quotes are per person. Unserved leftovers will be removed after the line is closed.
  • QHC will not cater events where alcohol is being served.
  • Final bill will be based on the actual number of guests served or the minimum of 25.
  • Two hours is the anticipated time for banquet or cater service.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 10% will be required to finalize any reservation.
  • Banquets and Catering are not available from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend
