Summer may be winding down, but opportunities to be at QHC are not! Come join us for quilting or scrapbooking retreats, family gatherings, eating meals, volunteering, or just enjoying the scenery.
Below is a list of upcoming camps and events here at Quaker Haven! More details will be forthcoming as each event approaches.
Each year QHC hosts 2 scrapbooking events, one in the spring and one in the fall. Ladies come from all over to enjoy scrapbooking, fellowship, and overall, to have fun! If you feel like a weekend get-a-way is just what you need and you love to scrapbook or want to start scrabooking, this event is perfect for you! The retreat is Friday through Sunday with the option to arrive on Thursday evening. Two registration options are available for the ease of all. Enjoy the benefits of the “Full Retreat” option or pick and choose from the “Choose Your Retreat” option, paying for only the meals, lodging, and scrap time you require. The choice is yours! The annual Madrigal Dinner at Castle Dewart is about to commence! But some strange things are causing a bit of confusion among the minstrels, Lord Christopher and his mother, Lady Elizabeth. Amidst the music, comedy, and chaos; there is a source of panic: the King is to arrive imminently! Will the telling of the birth of the Saviour be lost, or will the true meaning of Christmas be remembered by all?
When: December 2, 3, 9 & 10 at 7 p.m. Matinee on December 4 at 2 p.m.
